We’re pleased to announce that the Tactical Analysis Basic Course has been pre-approved by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) for 2026 Continuing Professional Training credit.
Ohio peace officers who complete the online course can receive 8 hours of CPT credit in the Compliance & Control Tactics category.
The course is listed on Ohio’s 2026 CPT Agency Pre-Approval List as:
26CPT1767 — The Tactical Analysis Course – Basic Online
The Tactical Analysis Course teaches a structured approach to observation and assessment—helping officers establish baselines, identify anomalies, recognize behavioral indicators, and make better-informed decisions about the people and situations around them.
For Ohio agencies, this approval makes it easier to incorporate Tactical Analysis into existing professional development programs while allowing officers to earn the required continuing training credit.
